Rimmel Stay Matte foundation, powder & Kate Moss matte lipstick in 001.

I had a good pay packet this week, so I treated myself to some new make up as I've just ran out of my tinted moisturiser. I decided to go for a proper foundation today.

So all of the above came to about £18, and the mascara was free. Word of advice, the mascara in my opinion isn't the best, but I'm very selective about my mascaras as my eyelashes are my best feature and pretty much the ONLY thing I really absolutely love about myself!

So the foundation in Ivory, coupled with the powder in Peach Glow gives quite a pale look. Pretty much matches my skin tone, maybe the slightest bit paler, but I don't mind pale especially with the blush on top. When I put the blush on I immediately fell in love, I love bright pink blushes (I'm not a bronzer kind of girl) and immediately I knew that this shade (Live Pink) will be a make up bag staple unless I find a better one!

The best bit though, was the lipstick!
Kate Moss in shade 001.

I keep meaning to buy M.A.Cs Ruby Woo, but I couldn't be bothered to take the train to Cardiff today as it was raining, so I saw this and bought it. I was using Boots natural collection lipstick before this. I put this on, it had 'the coffee cup test' and passed, it also had the dinner time test and pretty much passed. I had it on for about 4 hours with no need to re apply, but that was me just lounging around the house and after 4 hours I wanted to get my make up off and have a bath with all that lovely Lush I bought!

I'm on the hunt for something nice to combat dark circles next I think, and maybe something a bit better for the eyebrows too. I'll tell you the story about my eyebrows one day...
